Time and again we receive inquiries about where a product is available, whether it has only disappeared from a store or has even been removed from the range. How about an extension for each product, e.g. when the product was added to the range, when it was removed and also a selection of the various cooperatives when you click on Eastern Switzerland, the branches in Eastern Switzerland that stock the product are shown... This is certainly a good help for the M-Infoline to narrow down the inquiries and find more time for "bigger" suggestions...
Hmmm exciting is that again such a Migipedia glitch? I don't see a post from twilight *big eyes*, and on another post maripac has commented something (I know because of receiving e-mail) but when I look at the post mine is the last one.... Lg Luna L.
Oh no luna, I should wake up properly in the morning x-( ... please excuse me, the thank you is of course for you (no glitch, migipedia works, but I'm apparently still in bed with my head)....
Lol no cause, ;-) can happen sometimes... Whereby the other one in another post is already confusing... Unless maripac has spontaneously deleted her comment, then it would make sense that I don't see anything anymore ;-)
..... "maripac" is regularly afflicted by an acute urge to delete ALL of his own comments (and sometimes something falls away), but this time there was really nothing done about such "last-minute" actions would have to agree with elchbaerli, insofar as all my entries are (also) visible at the moment. BUT the end of the breakdown doesn't seem to be in sight yet *sigh*: When inserting the link to the new seasonal yogurt "Pistachio" yesterday, for example, "no access" appeared again, several times my scrolling down didn't work again either - i.e. soon came to an abrupt end-:(
This week I only had problems because of my wife's ailments, it's always like that when I want to travel! Now she's on vacation in Montana for three months. As planned, I'm going to Northern Italy, then off to the city on two continents!
At the very beginning - almost three years ago - you could check the stock on Migipedia under the article by clicking on the button. You could then enter the zip code, in my case "2555" for the Brügg center, or you would be prompted because the "cookies" were set. It wasn't very efficient and was removed within a very short time.
Such a query system would certainly be very interesting and would relieve Migipedia and M-Infoline of the tedious searching.
As I worked for many years in database management for institutions and large corporations, I see such a function as desirable, but it also has its pitfalls if the systems are not separated.
In private life, you also separate private and professional matters.
I suspect that Migipedia is disconnected from other professional systems and has no access to data from the FMC systems, especially as the cooperatives manage the stock and stock management themselves. Then no system has access to all branches.
If it were possible to create a kind of shadow database in which the region, location, store and article are stored, such a function could be added, but this would perhaps only be updated weekly.
I could not imagine a direct query access from a hobby system, such as Migipedia, to a professional system, because the loss of performance would be far too great. After all, once you start searching, you are constantly looking for something new and expanding the radius of your search. Unless you link the query to the place of residence and limit the periphery of the search to the region.
Here is a simple example: When a transaction was released in an administration with which almost everything could be searched, the system was paralyzed within a short time and this action had to be blocked again. What had happened? Word quickly got around that you could use this tool to search for interesting people, such as these: Sex "M", marital status "widowed", year of birth "1960", assets ">10,000,000", place "XYZ", and you got a list of all the eligible well-to-do men.
@Istanbul: Thanks for the link U.V.A. HAVE A GOOD trip and a BEAUTIFUL + relaxing time in Northern Italy and therefore in the 'city of two continents' (?) !
The new pistachio yogurt was bought today, comment follows after enjoyment
