Experience with M-Budget fixed-line telephony

Erfahrungen mit M-Budget Fesntetztelefonie

Hello everyone

I've had M-Budget's Combi Offer 3 for two months now and I'm generally quite happy with it:

Internet: ?
TV: ? - ? (I also commented in this article on p. 6)
Landline telephony: ?

Landline telephony, which is the least convincing part of this package so far, is not good:

  • Very annoying: ? Sometimes I "fly off the line". It happens rather rarely, but it's really annoying! (Never happened before, when I had a normal Swisscom connection.) Happens with an estimated 5% of calls. If it happens with one number, then there's a very good chance that I'll be dropped again. (Today, for example, the line was interrupted twice in succession during a 3-minute call to a Swiss 044 number).
  • Very annoying: "From time to time it is not possible to make calls at all for a moment. This can affect individual numbers or all connections. Fortunately, this happens quite rarely and then corrects itself again without any action on my part. (Incidentally, I conclude from this that it is not the Winbox that "needs" a reset, but that it must be the Internet telephony system).
  • A little annoying:? When calling the mobile network, it sometimes takes a few very long moments (approx. 10 seconds or more) until a connection is established and it rings at the other end.
  • A little annoying:? Sometimes it happens that the ringtone of my line sounds to callers as if they were calling America or England.

I would be interested to hear other customers' experiences with landline telephony.

Greetings,
