I agree 200% with Bruno Bötschi's article. White, tasteless strawberries in February are a no-go, wherever they come from. I was just as upset about this today in Migros Cham! An absolute waste of food. Gottlieb Duttweiler must have turned over in his grave 1000 times in recent years!!! Greetings to Mr. Zumbrunnen. You are 0% convincing when it comes to sustainability. But sales are the servant of success. Shame!

The best thing to do now is simply not to buy these strawberries. If all Migros customers did this, they would probably no longer be on sale. See all the other numerous products that Migros takes off the shelves because they are supposedly unpopular...
Unfortunately, this is an issue where nothing can be achieved. Profit is more important than making a statement. One is an offer. The other is a dirt-cheap offer of questionable origin. And worst of all: there are promotions with strawberries in winter, e.g. during the 1st week. After all last summer the fresh fruit was inedible, I wanted to test if anything had changed, and it was good that they weren't in a standard pack that would have reminded me too much of all the mold from 2019. Yes, the strawberries were flawless and even very good.
