The Migros app is becoming more and more of a disaster as time goes on. 1. why can I no longer view reviews in the app? Now the browser opens. 2. why can't I view Migros stores in the app? Again, the browser opens, which is just a farce. The guy who came up with the idea should be fired without notice. This is neither intuitive nor user-friendly or anything else.

The decision was made taking into account the small number of users who view the reviews in detail and the even smaller number of users who write them. This probably also explains why you end up in nirvana when you want to view the reviews of a product on the promotion page: https://www.migros.ch/404-de.html?url=/de/undefined (everything on the PC). As always with conversions: The guinea pig is the customer. Testing the functionality of new features before releasing them to the public is asking too much of the developers...
Don't be mad at me, but Cancel Culture here because of an app? Do you really want to be someone like that? Because the app is fucked up in your eyes, send someone into unemployment, wish him to have to worry about paying the rent and food because a mistake was made according to you? With all frustration and I understand if you are angry about something (Lemonfarmer is gone, who decided that again😭) But that's really intense how people immediately wish others bad luck, phew. But that's just the way the world is.
Maybe it's an exaggeration, but some decisions are simply so extreme .... that you can't help but doubt people. Migros is currently doing a lot of things. 99% of them wrong. Like, for example, the abolition of the 5-fold Cumulus voucher. (There the extremely stupid reason on Twitter "because only a small part has benefited from it" - logo the people who leave a lot of money in Migros or the specialty stores and not those who buy promotional items for CHF 5.95...) And then the values lady comes and says this decision with the "outsourcing to the browser" comes because of cost-benefit. So the service is being cut back, bonus vouchers are disappearing and I as a consumer should continue to pay the same price?
I'm right there with you and shake my head every time I come across Migros, I also regret how this Migros child feeling is no longer there and you ask yourself more and more "what the heck? But I don't think you should be too exuberant, I'd rather the people who make and implement decisions like this simply went back to the books and changed things. Migros has always been so great😥
Migros used to stand for innovative own brands, but often also for funny copies of branded products. The Bloxx bars, Gomz gummy bears, Eimalzin, etc. Now more and more well-known, much-loved items are being removed from the range and replaced by run-of-the-mill standardized products. Migros denies this, but it's becoming more and more noticeable. But that's just how you do your weekly shopping at the cheaper competitors and buy more and more there. Too bad Migros, you used to be really cool 🤷🏼♀️
