Disappointed with wok pan

Entäuscht von Wok-Pfanne

Now, unfortunately, I also have something to criticize!
In January, somewhere around Chinese New Year, I bought a wok at Migros Affoltern am Albis,
bought a wok?
It was part of the Asia Week promotion and was on the shelf with the special Asian offers.
Today was about the third time I've used this wok. It was heated with oil, then the meat was fried. I took the meat out, put fresh oil in, as you do, then fried the vegetables (you stir-fry in a wok).
The black coating has really peeled off!
It looked as if a bubble had formed, after which I had a real shred, similar to a black film, in the vegetables?
As the coating had come off in one piece, I was able to fish it all out and empty the vegetables into my second, smaller Wock!
I didn't stir with a wooden or plastic ladle and certainly not with anything sharp! I tossed the meat and vegetables!
Since I no longer have the receipt after using it several times, we realize that there's nothing we can do about it!
But we think that Migros should still know that something is not as it should be with this wok.
Of course I no longer have the item number etc., it was in a box.

You can print out the receipt from your Cumulus account or display it in the app!

Hello Imperator

Thank you very much for your feedback on this wok. I am very sorry that there are obviously defects.

I think Istanbul's tip is a good one - see if you can still find the receipt and try to return the wok to the store. In the meantime, I'll pass on your feedback to the product range managers and ask them what they would recommend.

Best regards
Tanja

Hello Emperor

At least there's some good news for you: You can return the wok to the store and get your money back - even without a receipt.

The problem with the coating is known and the product range managers are working with the supplier to find a solution.

Kind regards

Tanja

Hi Tanja,
thanks for your message, I'll be going back to Affoltern a.A. at the next opportunity.
Affoltern a.A. to go shopping again.
@Frederica
Thanks for the tip, also to Tanja, I didn't even think of that at first!
In that case, the ready-to-cook was the first thing?
Best wishes from sunny Wettswil a.A. and have a lovely spring day
