Cumulus vouchers are not being debited in my Migros app (Android) when I pay. The two vouchers I currently have are activated in the app. Is there anything else I need to do?

As far as I know, the redemption should work if you have previously activated the vouchers on your app.
They should then be deducted when you pay and scan the code.
Can you tell me exactly which Android phone you are using (Samsung 5/6, HTC)? And the version of the operating system would also be helpful. Then we can look into the problem.

I have just spoken to the technician. It's quite difficult to diagnose from a distance. Did the app fail to debit the vouchers once or does this happen regularly?
If it was a one-off, it could have been a short-term connection problem. That is very annoying. If the error occurs again and again, we will try to reconstruct it. This may take some time.
It is important that you always have the latest version of the app: We are constantly improving the app and therefore publish regular updates.

Unfortunately, the problem still exists. The Cumulus vouchers are not being charged to my account.
After your last message, I deactivated the vouchers once and then deactivated them again.
I paid at the Migros restaurant at lunchtime today, of course, and held out my Cumulus card, but the activated Cumulus vouchers were not charged.
Here is the barcode from the receipt, it may help to reconstruct it: 0520442213121400001080

You write that you "held out the Cumulus card". That raises questions: What exactly did you hold out, the normal card or the QR code in the app? Because paying with activated blue Cumulus vouchers works differently to digital discount coupons.
To be able to pay with the digital blue vouchers, you have to scan the QR code in your app (or have it scanned).

Then that was the problem. I assumed that the coupons and the Cumulus vouchers would work the same.

@FabianS I hoped so too .... but unfortunately it doesn't work properly with the vouchers for payment. The people who developed it realized that there was a "worm" in it.
And then they came up with a "workaround" which, like all "workarounds", is cumbersome.
Instead of handing in the already printed Cumulus receipt at the checkout, you first have to "activate" the receipt on the Internet site (= 5 minutes of time wasted that the customer would be better off using for shopping ... from Migros' point of view, if they thought about it properly). Then you have to take your smartphone with you when you go shopping ... it must be charged and switched on, the app must be open ... Instead of quickly loading the goods into your shopping cart, you play around on your smartphone like a "dork" and make the queue even longer.
It's a constantly "recurring" fad that you waste people's time with some junk. It usually takes a few months for the toy to disappear again. With smartphones, however, it's unfortunately the case that you can constantly make this toy interesting with new "toys". That's why it will take longer than "normal" before the smartphone is finally used as a work tool and is no longer used to mess up people's time.
The Migros "app" does absolutely nothing that is even remotely useful. Even the "shopping list" is garbage ... Nobody only shops at Migros.
