many prices were also reduced... but it was also said at the time that prices would be reduced the most in the second half of the year...

How will Migros react? Today, many suppliers are starting purchasing talks with the buyers of all European retail chains. Tough negotiations are essential with Unilever, Procter Gamble (the toughest) Beiersdorf AG (NIVEA etc...), Kneipp, Loreal Group...

The food prices are +/- justifiable with the Swiss raw material prices.... but it is hard to explain to a customer why he gets Listerine for 2.85EURO (3.10fr converted) in Germany, but still has to pay almost twice as much here even after the price reduction from 6.30 to 5.80... Listerine, however, has hardly any expense in Switzerland......


I wish Migros would once again follow its founder as a pioneer in terms of prices and not just present itself as a pioneer in post-cure...
