We didn't develop the shopping list in the Migros app for ourselves, but for our customers. It is designed to help them plan their shopping better and do their shopping efficiently. That's exactly why we asked on Migipedia in June what would make the new shopping list in the Migros app even better. In the end, we received 275 ideas - thank you very much.
Among the ideas were suggestions that we had expected and could understand. And of course there were also ideas that surprised us. Let's get specific: in almost every sixth idea submission, the prices of the products or the estimated total of an entire shopping list were mentioned. This suggestion also made it into the top 3 in terms of likes from the community and has already been implemented. Since the July update of the Migros app (version 5.2. from July 1, 2019), the prices of the products and the total of a purchase can be found in the shopping list. These adjustments will certainly help you to plan your shopping even better. Further adjustments will be made based on your feedback, but also on the feedback from the M-Infoline - we promise that at this point.
And, have you already been able to try out the first adjustment in the Migros shopping list app? A product like the shopping list in the Migros app thrives on being constantly improved and geared even more closely to the needs of users - i.e. you. You are therefore welcome to publish your experiences and suggestions in response to this post. We plan to regularly publish a free update of the Migros app in the Apple and Google Android stores.
