Shopping with smartphone and self-scanning

Einkaufen mit Smartphone und Selfscanning

When I go shopping with my smartphone and the digital shopping list in my hand, I always have one hand missing. I hold the smartphone with one hand and the self-scanner with the other and then I need to have one hand free to take the item off the shelf and put it in the shopping trolley. This is always complicated, especially with vegetables, as they still have to be weighed and labeled. Wouldn't it be a great invention if the shopping trolley had an additional holder for the smartphone? I think that would be a great innovation that no other store has yet. Thank you very much!

Hmhm and then you turn away for a moment and the phone is stolen? I think that's a wonderful invitation for thieves. It should be theft-proof... And why does everything always have to be done electronically? Writing a note doesn't work?

An understandable problem if you have the shopping list on your cell phone - but I don't believe in a solution with an additional holder: At least there should be a solution for those customers who make the shopping lists via the Migros app (=list tab at the bottom of the M app).
It should also be possible to load this shopping list onto the Migros handheld scanner via your own Cumulus login as required and thus receive a correct order of the items noted in the shopping list after storing the shopping branch with subsequent color differentiation between the list and already scanned. .... just as a thought.

Very interesting and practical ideas, let's see if and when it can be implemented. ↵↵The "receipt on request" option with Subito only lasted 5 years😉↵https://migipedia.migros.ch/de/forum/option-kein-druck-der-quittung-bei-subito?backtoboard=q%3DQuittung%26p%3D3%26sort%3Dlast_activity

The idea of the shopping list on the self-scan handheld scanner is nothing new - it's been around for years.

Hello turner5, I would like to ask your comradeship whether such a bracket is being considered. Where do you usually shop? Best regards, Sina
