Just be satisfied!

Einfach mal zufrieden sein!

Hello everyone I just have to get one thing off my chest! I'm a regular visitor to migipedia.ch and often look at posts by certain users. Unfortunately, it shocks me again and again that many (very!) people make a huge problem out of little things. Examples: "The bread isn't fresh" / "Why is there glue on the organic oranges?" / "I can't find the products since the conversion" / "You can't open the packaging properly" etc. Sorry, but when I see the problems we have in Switzerland these days, I can only shake my head! Just be glad that we have food at all and then in such a large selection! Think about war-torn countries, children in Africa, they don't even have clean drinking water and we only complain when there's no M-Budget carbonated water for a day, for example. I just want to make it clear: Many of you don't even know how well off we actually are! We already have everything, but we always want more and more and are ultimately never satisfied. Just realize that we are more than just "fine" and please stop making an elephant out of small problems! I can often only shake my head at the problems certain people have.... I hope you have understood my message and wish you all a wonderful Advent season - and just be happy with what we have! Greetings from eastern Switzerland

You don't have to look so far away. in Germany, only 1/4 of all mandatory inspections are now carried out. (Food inspections), and this is set to be further reduced in 2020. Take a look at Lebensmittelwarnung.de to see what's already there. (I'm sure there's still a dark figure!) Of course they're not starving. Okay, and the food banks? Africa is closer than you think, of course not yet to the same extent, but since electricity and rents have risen massively there - it's only a matter of time before it gets really bad. And Africa, exactly what about the other crisis areas? They're starving there just as much... dear 19Thomas96 Africa is really the manslaughter argument...I can't listen to it anymore! And when you see how MIGROS is slowly but surely being managed to death, then the world can tolerate a forum like this, just as it can tolerate a "Greta". Especially as it seems to me that although MIGROS provides such a forum, it hardly ever occurs to anyone to seek inspiration there. And as long as there are highly paid people with a technical degree (yes, it's a profession and highly paid) who only have to think about how anyone can open a packet, jar or can, I can and will be upset if I can't open a blister pack of Bündnerfleisch or buy expensive storage containers that are simply no good. And if you're already praising the variety of foods, then I recommend you consult the thread "MiIGROS products that have disappeared...". Perhaps it would do MIGROS good to row back to the roots. After all, these are all good and, above all, inexpensive products that have disappeared. I used to go to MIGROS because it was MIGROS. Today, they're getting caught up in the brand battle like every other discounter, except perhaps LIDL and ALDI, which are on the rise. And I'm also aware that I/we are doing well, that I/we are privileged, but that doesn't mean I have to let everyone make me feel guilty. No offense meant, but I just can't listen to these Africa platitudes any more.
