Do it + Garden Migros - Unnecessary sender names in the newsletter
Do it + Garden Migros - Unnötige Absender-Bezeichnungen beim Newsletter
Hello @migros_2
Recently, Do it + Garden Migros has been sending out newsletters with different sender details, which refer to the content of the newsletter or to the weekly promotion. In the current newsletter from today, Saturday, May 26, 2018, you can read the following as the sender:
Do it + Garden promotion: 20% discount on garden furniture
and as the subject:
What garden furniture are you looking for? Save 20%!
Do it + Garden Migros is not the first newsletter sender to misuse the sender line as promotional information. Dipl Ing. Fust also did this for a while last year.
However, this approach is not to be recommended, as it is not only nonsensical (subject information belongs in the subject field and not in the sender), but above all confusing: it means that the sender is not clearly recognizable and the e-mail in question is classified as spam.
After corresponding intervention, Fust has abandoned this short-term practice and is once again using a uniform, clear sender designation. Do it + Garden Migros should do the same.
Greetings from AlMiDeCoLi
