Migros' policy of diversifying its assortment with a large number of products from other brands is, in my opinion, a fundamental mistake, especially for the M subsidiaries (and not the large Migros stores). If I go to the Migros in my small town, it's to find the Migros products I've always enjoyed. But since you can't exceed a certain number of products in the same store, Migros products that used to be available and appreciated are no longer there, so you have to get in your car to go to an MM or MMM. In my locality, I can find all the branded products elsewhere... and Migros even puts them into action, in Migros magazine. What will happen if we add an alcoholic beverage section to this? So such a policy could possibly be applied to MMM superstores, but not to a local store.
