Of course Migros has many more branches than perhaps 15 years ago, but why not revive the cult of the migros bus? We just remembered yesterday how we used to buy milk slices there on our street! Would be a great idea! Greetings

I also remember the bus, which was particularly popular with older people or people without their own car. Today, however, almost every shopping center is served by public transport and there are only two problems with this group of shoppers (older people, no car of their own): a) Drinking bottles (6-pack 1.5L) mainly because of the weight b) Frozen products - mainly because of the time involved But you can also help yourself in the neighborhood, which are motorized, at least on the bus you are definitely not welcome with heavy bags. Let's look on the bright side: the bus no longer exists - but the public transport connections are many times better.

the better connections are useless! How are older people in particular supposed to get on the streetcars and buses with their bags and luggage? How many mothers with children would be happy not to have to go shopping all the time! To walk such long distances for a few things for daily use, through 3 floors in the shopping center???
Reintroduce the buses, it was also a meeting place for people!!!

everything that was good will be done away with...
I also have fond memories of the old days with the Migro bus. That's where I had my first experience of shopping as a child. That's probably why I'm now a grown-up "Migros child" who prefers shopping at Migros to the Coop.
Estella 23: Exactly my opinion. The buses would certainly be useful in remote areas without good transport links. (Do we all have 2 cars available today?) The Migros bus meeting point used to be like that. There were one or two conversations to have yourself or to overhear.
