I can't get my head around the fact that MIGROS has to go through all this red tape to enable Cumulus customers to take part in promotions or redeem vouchers. Why doesn't MIGROS simply credit the Cumulus cards with the credits or promotions?
Put yourself in the retailer's shoes.
You want people to come into your store. So you offer incentives in the form of vouchers and promotions for your loyalty card customers - which of course costs you money every time a customer actually redeems these vouchers.
So: As a retailer, do you want the vouchers to be redeemed or are you happy for every customer who comes into the store but forgets to redeem the voucher?
Now that you have read this and Bodenseeknusperli's reasoning, can you imagine why such credits and promotions are not automatically loaded onto every Cumulus card?
