Why do the Cumulus advantage coupons in the app have to be activated in advance? The paper versions are valid immediately.
I wish that when paying with Subito, the list of usable coupons would simply appear AND that you would then have the option to deselect the ones you don't want to redeem.

As it is now, I have to activate in advance depending on what and how much I want to buy... and at the same time hope that someone else in the household with the Cumulus card doesn't buy a sandwich elsewhere and "use up" the 5x coupon before I get to the till.

Is it that difficult to set it up this way?

I understand your wish and it is also my wish - technically this should be possible with a software update. Especially as I have already experienced a fairly extensive scenario in this regard at the attended checkout myself (post earlier). That's why I asked a person who regularly shops at staffed checkouts and they always ask about purchases over CHF 100... AND waited....

Automatic activation would certainly make sense for:
-- e.g. the 800 points on purchases over CHF 100 (which are current now, doesn't matter here whether I buy for CHF 101 or CHF 490)... in the same direction: 200 points for purchases over 20 CHF in M-Restaurant, which is given with the statement
-- the 2 times automatically when I buy for over 100 CHF (because I get a replacement with this transaction - and two could not be accumulated), under 100 CHF manually
-- because 500 points for 10 hot drinks consumed (from the stamp card) because minimum consumption is CHF 0.05.... this is just occupational therapy... ;-)
-- also all these special cases like currently: closets from 0 CHF, Nespresso machines from 89 CHF, beds/mattresses/frames from 0 CHF.... you only buy 1* in this expiry period!
