Yesterday I discovered that the vanilla cornet (crème d'or) had simply been removed from the range in our store. Instead, there is now a pistachio cornet, for example. What do you think? Can it really be that the vanilla cornets are so unpopular? I simply don't believe it....

And Megastar doesn't have Choco, but does have the unpopular vanilla?
That's down to marketing, which classifies the items into product ranges. If an item is in too high a category for a particular store, you can no longer get it there. Some of the classifications are a joke.
For example, Kellogs AllBran Fruit is in a lower level than the Regular (natural).
So the "normal" is only available in larger stores

The original Créme d'Or Cornet vanilla ice cream has unfortunately been discontinued since mid-March. However, there is a successor, the Créme d'Or Vanille Cornet (very similar name, but slightly different recipe), which is available in the Schönenwerd and Buchs branches, for example.
In Unterentfelden, the alternatives are the Fun Vanilla Cornets or the Créme d'Or Mini Cornets Vanilla and Chocolat. Have you already tried these? Best regards, Jrene

Hi Jrene! Thank you for the clarification. No, I haven't tried it yet. But the only thing left are the "fun" cornets, which haven't really "tickled" me yet.... The mini ones are a bit small and Schoggiglacé is not so popular with us - they would probably always be left over. And I don't go to Buchs or Schönenwerd just for these cornets. Let's see and otherwise I'll just have to look around - sorry - at the competition...... Best regards, Daniela

I would be delighted if we had Black Forest cornets, I would have loved to try them, but unfortunately they're not available, nor is pistache. It's chocolate and I don't like chocolate ice cream. I also thought the cappucino was sooo good and suddenly it was no longer available. Instead, there are always lots of funny ice creams for children and really enough of them.
