The new chocolate advertisement from Chocolat Frey is about Easter eggs and children discussing this topic. Today I noticed one boy saying "Then they'll eat the horses". Is this a reference to the horsemeat scandal? :)

The saying "Then they'll eat the horses" is not to be understood as meaning that people eat the horses, but that the horses eat the Easter eggs if you leave them in the garden. Unfortunately, I've only seen the commercial once, but the serious look on the boy's face when he says the sentence is simply "hilarious", as we Bernese say. It's also heart-warming when the children ask each other at the end where they can hide the eggs outdoors. They look out over the Mongolian steppe, where not a tree or shrub grows for miles around.
