I'm wondering why Chocco D'Oro capsules, compatible with Delizio machines, first disappeared from the shelves, then even from the online store! The best coffee, a Swiss product, a great, affordable machine, everything was just right! A real shame!

That's a real shame. We still haven't found a worthy replacement. The Delizio coffees are unfortunately sour and not up to scratch.
Do you know whether Chicco d'oro has stopped producing Delizio machines altogether?

I agree that the Delizio capsules are not a worthy replacement for the Chicco D'Oro capsules. It looks like we will have to buy a Nespresso system in order to continue enjoying Chicco D'Oro. We have just been able to convince ourselves again in the vacation apartment that this coffee is simply much better (less sour and bitter) than all Delizio varieties?

For information: I have tried practically all the coffee capsules in the Delizio standard line. None of them convinced me. And the limited editions (for example from Costa Rica or Brazil, etc.) are also unpalatable.
Now I buy the coffee capsules from Denner: these are the Café Crema (golden-yellow capsules). At Denner they have 3 different types of coffee to choose from, but this is the only one you can drink. The red and silver capsules are not good either. Most probably the same manufacturer as Migros.
The fact is: at the moment I drink coffee almost exclusively from my old, tried and tested Moka (with Chicco d'Oro coffee, also from Denner).

You might like the following Delizio Editione Italiana coffees better: Delizio Lungo Italiana 12 capsules (art. no. 1071.199), Delizio Ristretto Italiana 12 capsules (art. no. 1071.200) or Delizio Espresso Italiana 12 capsules (art. no. 1071.198).
