Hello - Caffé Grande is fine - also appreciated by young people. However, they should not consume too much caffeine - why is there no caffeine-free version?

Hello Chrisoletto, thank you for your input. Unfortunately, the demand for decaffeinated coffee is not so high, which is why we do not offer it. Excessive consumption of caffeine can lead to nervousness and sleep disorders in both children/adolescents and adults. However, a daily amount of 3 mg of caffeine per kilo of body weight is considered safe by the European Food Safety Authority - both for adults and children/adolescents and also for daily consumption. Grande Caffè products have a caffeine content of 20-34 mg per 100 ml, depending on the variety. Children/adolescents usually consume neither coffee nor black tea, but absorb caffeine from other sources, for example chocolate milk, chocolate, iced tea, cola, energy drinks, etc. Sweet drinks containing caffeine are often consumed regularly and in large quantities, even by younger children; in comparison, the intake of caffeine from a Grande Caffè product is relatively modest, depending on the flavor. So there is nothing to be said against the occasional consumption of a Grande Caffè. Best regards, Noemi
There are no cold coffee drinks without caffeine from any manufacturer/producer (presumably because there is no demand for them)... There is only decaffeinated coffee (beans or capsules).

Thank you very much for your detailed and precise answer. It is true that young people drink far more caffeinated drinks, which is undoubtedly problematic. However, as there are also adults who are sensitive to caffeine, I thought there might be a need for it. There are also many other variants, without sweetener, without lactose, vegan - so one more would certainly fit the bill...? Well, perhaps this is the start of a growing demand. Thank you very much!

Exactly - I noticed that too. That's why I wanted to start asking...
