I am a Nespresso child. I bought the Café Royal at Migros today after all. The capsule is not so easy to insert into the machine and the capsule closes badly. The coffee - well, just not Nespresso. I also think it's stupid that each capsule is in a separate plastic bag. It really wouldn't be necessary.
I'll finish the pack, but I probably won't be buying any more capsules from Migros.

It is true that loading the capsule is a little more strenuous. The other issue is the packaging: the Nespresso capsule is made entirely of aluminum, so no additional packaging - certainly a greater waste of resources.
I can't fault the quality of the Nespresso either.
Nespresso defends its monopoly position with an armada of lawyers - just like Apple does against Samsung and other competitors. This "Everything that was once conceived in this world is mine and is contained in my patent" is not necessarily my philosophy of life...
Ultimately, it's the consumer who decides what to drink - and that's a good thing. I think it's less good when a global corporation is involved in the decision. The problem is less with us than in the so-called Third World.

Even if the coffee was BETTER than Nespresso, I wouldn't buy these plastic waste imitations!
Patent war or not... Nespresso simply has a well thought-out product from A-Z... which consists of three components...

They have also built up an excellent nationwide recycling network for the capsules.
As long as these factors do not apply to any other product, a change is out of the question for me...
I think it's a shame...
Most people only buy the price... not the product!

I also have something important to say about this that needs to be considered:
When I lived near Düsseldorf, I bought a Krups Nespresso machine in Germany. Now I've moved to Switzerland, taking my Nespresso machine with me, of course. And I bought two varieties of Cafè Royal, which don't taste bad at all. But my poor machine didn't last long. When I wanted to drink original Nespresso capsules again, my machine couldn't cope and only roughly pierced the capsules, but didn't let any more coffee through.
Since then, I can only let the Migros capsules through with this machine.
I have now bought a new Nespresso machine, a Pixie, and am happy with it. However, I won't drink a single non-original capsule with it, as I don't want to run the risk of this machine dying on me.
unfortunately, i had the same experience. crazy about the new royal capsules, i immediately bought a box of each flavor. when i got home, however, i immediately realized that this was probably a bad idea.
okay, i then indirectly advertised and gave the boxes away ;-)
