I bought a pack of budget hazelnuts today as the shelves at Migros are often not stocked after 9am.
It wasn't until I was baking that I noticed a strange smell and tonight we threw the whole Russenzopf in the bin .
The nut mixture tasted extremely bitter and smelled strange .
After my info I learned that bitter nuts indicate a very unhealthy mold .

I will go to Migros tomorrow, but I know how it will come out.
They probably won't take me seriously and I'll get upset and that's it .
For me the budget products are slowly out and I will probably go more to the Coop, because the shelves are filled after 9 o'clock
