I regularly buy Budget cream cheese. However, I have the feeling that something has been changed in the recipe recently, which has changed the consistency. But much worse, and what really bothers me, is that the aluminum lid no longer comes off easily. It used to come off in one piece, but now it tears immediately and can only be removed in several pieces. Will it stay like this forever? If so, I will switch to a different product because I find it really tedious.
I think it's a shame that the cream cheese comes from Denmark (if that's still the case). The competition manages to offer almost the same product at the same price, made in Switzerland.

However, we received several feedbacks recently regarding the consistency and the lid. The lid is probably welded on too hot so that it tears when opened. Our cheese department and our supplier have already been informed about this. @stecki: You are right, our cream cheese spread is not from Switzerland. This is the same with some competitors and branded products.
