As you know, the round St. Gallen bread has the shape and size of a handball, i.e. it can be held with one hand. The only problem is that the packaging is too small and the additional perforated (why?) visible part makes the packaging even more susceptible to tearing, i.e. if you grab the bread with one hand, it can slip out of the packaging. The packaging is then torn and every time I see such torn packaging in the bread stand, I know that the bread has come into contact with the floor... Not exactly hygienic.
The packaging suitable for this round bread is only used at the bread stand: The cashier holds the bread in one hand - in the other the sufficiently large paper bag without cellophane and the bagging goes without a hitch...
