Dear Migros
In my local Migros, Unterentfelden, the bread selection after 5 p.m. is totally meagre. It was definitely different in the past and Migros was the clear number one when it came to bread. I have noticed that the competition has caught up massively and has even surpassed Migros. Why is that?

For example, a farmer's baguette or crusty wreath, or pain paillasse, rustico...
Just something crispy and fine and not just Ticino bread or half-white or smoked bread.

Yes, on the one hand I agree with GroovyCH; not having a choice between wholemeal and white bread, for example, at 5 p.m. is not satisfactory. I also think that the bread range should be expanded even more. :) ;)
On the other hand, dear Migros, please don't keep the bread shelves full until closing time! Last Saturday at 3.45pm in the Migros Ladendorf, the shelves were "almost" empty, but that doesn't bother me! Especially with regard to the discussion about food waste.
What happens to unsold bread?!
If there was a cheaper shelf with "bread from the day before", that would be really great (maybe it already exists? I haven't found it anywhere yet) I would buy it. :)

The bread area in Unterentfelden has recently had a new specialist manager. Based on your feedback, we have redefined the bread range until closing time and hope to meet your needs in the future.
I would be delighted to hear from you again in a few weeks to find out whether the range is now more suitable.

As a consumer, I'm often in a dilemma: on the one hand, I would like to have a choice, but on the other hand, if this is guaranteed, a lot of bread is thrown away. That cannot and must not be the case! That's why I also welcome you @patricia that the racks are sometimes almost empty and I think the idea of buying bread from the previous day is definitely worth pursuing.
