Bread with a tough crust

Brot mit zäher Rinde

For years now, I've been annoyed by the fact that the crusts of bread (whole loaves, various types) from Migros are very tough. (sometimes already on the day of purchase, at the latest the next day)

This is not the case with bread from the competition (Coop).

Why can't the Migros bakery produce a crispy, great crust?

Thank you for your feedback on our breads@Erika2020

Of course, we don't like to hear that you no longer like them. Nevertheless, we appreciate such feedback because it makes us aware of your needs and we can change and hopefully improve something.

We have passed your question on to our bakers and are waiting for an answer. You'll hear from us again soon.

Best regards

Tamara

Hello @Erika2020, hello @Bodenseeknusperli

Such perceptions are very subjective, so it is difficult to give a suitable answer here.

Our new stone-baked breads in particular are very popular and are perceived as crispy. However, our bread department has taken your feedback on board and will address the issue of crispiness with the bakers.

Thank you for linking to the other conversation about Brot@Bodenseeknusperli. You are allowed to have your opinion and express it. That's what Migipedia is for ;-) We understand your point of view and see that some others do too. Compared to the quantities sold and the positive feedback on the bread, the negative feedback is small. Nevertheless, we take them seriously and our bread department will address this issue.

Thank you again for your open words. We really appreciate this, as it can bring about change. Keep up the good work!

Best regards and see you soon

Your Tamara
