I think it's a shame that the boullion cubes are only available in these 5 x 2 packs. That uses up a lot more packaging material and only enhances the product. Why have the 10 packs been abolished?

sorry for the delay, the clarifications took a little longer.
We have found that the bouillon stick packaging is the most popular in the Swiss market, so we have also switched our Bon Chef bouillons to this format. This change in packaging also allowed us to avoid the problem of the cubes becoming dry or not dissolving well. With the 12-pack, you had to pay even more attention to this, as the packaging was already open and bouillon cubes had to be stored in a dry place. Most households do not use up the 12 bouillon cubes so quickly.
We know that the packaging change is not ecological, but we wanted to take customer demand into account. Unfortunately, there is no alternative at the moment.
Regarding only 10 cubes: Until now, we had 6 and 12 cubes in our range, which contained exactly the same bouillon cube recipe. Analyses have shown that this was an unnecessary and unappreciated duplication in our bouillon range. We have therefore switched to a 10-cube pack to replace both items. Instead, we now also offer the Bon Chef Premium cubes with olive oil and sea salt in the 8-cube bouillon bar.
Price: This is not a hidden price increase. All the old 12-cube bouillons (vegetables, beef, chicken) cost CHF 3.00. The new 10-cube bouillons cost CHF 2.50. -> This means that the cost of 25 Rp. per cube or 2.50 per 100g has remained the same.
