Lately, I've been getting the feeling more and more that certain customer groups are simply being discriminated against at Migros.
Previously, as a loyal Migros customer, you could benefit from a sales bonus within the two-month Cumulus collection period. This has now been abolished (customers were allegedly unaware of this) and has been replaced by the 2-fold or 5-fold bonus coupon.
Who can now benefit again? The Famigros customers! Well done!
It's not that I don't begrudge families this, but what is the definition of a "loyal customer" at Migros?
There are many singles, older people or even working people who shop at Migros several times a week or have lunch at Migros. These frequent visits make it difficult to reach the sales threshold of CHF 100. Are these the worse customers than those who shop once a week and therefore reach the required minimum turnover????
It's not just families who have to see how they can make ends meet. No, there are many old and young people who have to turn over every penny. Such activities just make me shake my head. It's a shame that Migros has to take such an approach.
Migros should return to the basic values of Dutti.
A coupon here, a card there, a stamp there. What's the point? With this flood of coupons that has been unleashed on customers and staff recently, nobody can see through it any more. It's all far too complicated. "Less is more after all!" There is no need for 3 collection manias a year. This money would be better invested in great campaigns. That would also attract customers to the store and all customers would benefit equally. That should be the aim of a cooperative. Shouldn't it?
