Hello,
I have a question:
Why does the Börek cost 3.90 in the Migros Aare (Aarau branch) and only 3.40 at the Migros Cooperative Zurich?
Both come from Greece.
At Coop it is 3.50
So it should also cost 3.40 at Migros Aare.
At Aldi it even costs 1.70 Fr

Hello @EEnergy, thank you for your inquiry.
We have different types of börek in our range. Is it the same börek that you compared or are they two different products? Can you possibly give us the item number?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards, Angela
Hello everyone, yes, the fact that there are different prices from cooperative to cooperative is also a mystery to me.
But @EEnergy, you can't compare Migros prices with Aldi prices, you know that as well as I do.
What is somehow even more puzzling are the different prices within the SAME cooperative.
Arizona costs up to 40 or 50 centimes more in the restaurant in one place. As far as I know, Spreitenbach belongs to Migros Restaurant Aare, in Buchs Wynecenter MigrosRestaurant, there are simply price differences. Why is that?

Hello @Mystery1978
The prices for the drink Arizona are different in the Take Away and in the Migros Restaurant. It costs CHF 2.90 in the Take Away and CHF 3.90 in the Migros Restaurant. Due to the higher operating costs of a restaurant (infrastructure, staff, etc.), the prices are higher.
There should not be a price difference between two Migros restaurants. Then we need more details to investigate this.
Best regards
Angela

Dear Angela, I do NOT mean Take Away and Migros Restaurant differences, I have ONLY had it from the restaurant where in the same cooperative, different prices are. (Migros Aare)
But it's about the Börek to get back to the topic.

Yes, from the HOT station where the sausages in the dough and Pizza Margharita are inside.
Hello EEnergy, I have received feedback from the Zurich and Aare cooperatives. First of all, I have to correct our statement that there are no price differences between two Migros restaurants, because there are. Please excuse our misinformation.
As each Migros Cooperative is organized independently, the sources of supply of foodstuffs also vary, as do the purchase prices, the range of products, personnel and operating costs, and so on and so forth. These factors can result in different sales prices.
I wish you a Merry Christmas! Best regards, Sina
Hello EEnergy, it's me again. I have some great news. The Migros Cooperative Aare has decided to also offer the Börek for CHF 3.40 from the beginning of 2019! When the Börek was introduced, the cooperatives negotiated different purchase prices, which had an impact on the price. I am pleased that they can now match the price.
Enjoy the holidays and best wishes, Sina
