Hello PrincessErika,

Migros has been closely monitoring the issue of bisphenol A for many years. Our risk assessments are based on the respective statements of the FOPH (Federal Office of Public Health), EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) and the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment. Our suppliers are obliged to comply with legal requirements. We regularly carry out Bisphenol A checks as part of our assortment audits, to ensure compliance with current standards.

Please consult the FOPH technical data sheet at: https://www.blv.admin.ch/blv/fr/home/gebrauchsgegenstaende/materialien-in-kontakt-mit-lebensmitteln/verpackungen.html

Not all cans contain bisphenol A, however. In fact, we're seeing more and more use of bisphenol A-free interior lacquering.

Best regards, Tirza

In short, YES, Migros cans contain or may contain Bisphenol A.
Thank you for your clear and concise answers.

Hello jonathanlaskar, thank you very much for your contribution. Indeed, our cans may contain bisphenol A. However, according to EFSA, these chemicals pose no health risk. Sincerely, Luisa

And according to Monsanto, glyphosate is harmless. There will always be an organization that will say that such and such a product is harmless!
