Why does Migros Lausanne manage to give biodegradable plastic bags to customers and Migros Basel and other regions do not? As I once heard there was talk of abolishing the white bags yes I am in favor of it but please replace them.
I am in favor of more biodegradable plastic products, e.g. yogurt cups, shampoo and so on.

Thank you for your message. Istanbul's comment is correct: each cooperative is allowed to make its own decisions. This also applies to the plastic bags.
We are monitoring the results of this project very closely - this product may also be of interest to other cooperatives.

In theory, I'm also in favor of it. In practice, I find it completely unacceptable to produce bags or fuel from food as long as anyone on the planet is still starving.
