In my store you can buy "organic eggs from the region" and "Swiss organic eggs". The "organic eggs from the region" cost considerably more than the "Swiss organic eggs". Why is that? A bit illogical, isn't it?

I think@Bodenseeknusperliis right here. For my local eggs in Migros, for example, I know the farm. It is relatively small and therefore probably cannot offer such competitive prices as the larger organic farms.

Do the eggs have the same weight? They are usually labeled S, M or L and the weight should also be visible.

If you look at the price per egg, the CoR eggs are cheaper.
The details are as follows:
BiO AdR eggs FL AA 53g+:7.60/10 pieces of 53g+, i.e.0.760/egg
BiO eggs CH 63g+ 4 pieces: 3.30/4 pieces of 63g+, i.e.0.835/egg
Organic eggs CH 53g+ 6 pieces: 4.85/6 pieces of 53g+, i.e.0.808/egg
In detail, the prices per 100g egg are: CoR= 1.434, organic +63g= 1.310 and organic +53g= 1.525.
I hope this makes things clearer.
