Bees have a certain flight radius, which they cover for pollen flight. If a certain percentage of this radius lies over organic or Demeter fields, the honey is then organic or Demeter. Interesting info: In the plains, the radius (according to "hearsay") should be approx. 3km. How wide is the radius in the foothills of the Alps, in the Jura or even in the Alps? I could imagine that it is increasingly smaller due to the topography and therefore the "organic area" is more manageable.@martinfink: Are you a beekeeper?
