I also go for non-organic clementines. The organic ones have disappointed me this year, although they would actually be most delicious in the months 10|11.
It's not the fault of the stores, but of the product or the buyer.

As written, the supplier from Spain is very weak and there are much better ones. Out of five pieces, two are already dry and two would be the quality to justify the price.

We are sorry that the clementines did not meet your expectations.
Clementines need cold temperatures and especially a day-night gradient to get a firm skin. As it was very warm in Spain until last week, the clementines did not form a firm skin, which means that they are more susceptible to damage during transportation, rot more quickly and also dry out.
Migros is currently sorting out around 30-40% of organic clementines because their quality and shelf life do not meet our requirements.
However, the current cold front has now also reached Spain. In addition, the main variety Clemenules, which is characterized by particularly good properties, will be available from this week.
We therefore hope that the quality of organic clementines will also improve considerably over the next few weeks.
If you come across poor quality again the next time you go shopping, I would be grateful if you could let me know.

@joeweibel: Migros doesn't just need 1 kg of clementines. The quantities required cannot simply be obtained from another supplier on the spur of the moment. The procurement process is a bit more complex.
