Organic clementines

Bio Clementinen

Today I bought organic clementines Liblings 1 kilo in 5620 bremgarten; lot 526. 11 pieces four pieces rotten two massive old spots. Do we want to promote organic or let it die?

Hello joeweibel

That is of course annoying, we understand that organic clementines, unlike conventional ones, are not treated during cultivation. This effectively results in a shorter shelf life. In addition, untreated fruit is generally more delicate. Due to the heavy rainfall in Spain, it is possible that the clementines will not be edible for too long. In addition, the season for this variety is slowly coming to an end. We check the quality in several places before the fruit reaches the stores. In addition, we are constantly optimizing the value chain so that we can offer our customers products that are as fresh as possible. If this is not the case, you can of course return the fruit to your store.

Good news: no pesticides were detected in the organic Migros clementines. The downside: they have a shorter shelf life than the flawless, shiny fruit from conventional production: http://www.srf.ch/sendungen/kassensturz-espresso/tests/kassensturz-tests/mandarinen-gift-cocktail-in-den-zitrusfruechten

Good morning everyone. Then this product needs more controls in the store. Perhaps it would also be better to look around from other countries such as Italy as better quality can be found. Organic products are also simply treated differently
