The other day my balcony peppermint was full of aphids. So I went to Do it & Garden and asked for an organic remedy against the aphids. I was recommended the product Kondo from Maag (Syngenta AG). It says in small print on the back that it is dangerous to bees, but the product doesn't say exactly when and how to use it. Only when I google it do I get precise instructions on when and how the product should be used so that as few bees as possible die..... 1. Apart from the fact that the product is certainly not organic, I am of the opinion that 2. such products are also partly responsible for bee mortality and should therefore not be available to hobby gardeners, who usually use the wrong product far too often in a good sense.
