Couldn't you set up a separate page for these reviews? It's really tedious to see the same reviews all the time. Then you overlook the new ones and you don't really read them any more. It was the same last year with the Epiphany cake.......... Would really be worth checking - thanks Migipedia
Yes, for a few days now I've been scrolling my index finger with sore muscles. I ask myself: who on earth is interested in the 75,619 meaningless reviews of bananas, ice tea, seal ice cream, risoletto and the like? What use is this latest marketing stunt supposed to be, apart from thousands of people wasting their valuable and far too short lives? I found the first meaningful review of the cell phone just before my index finger got tired: "ready at any time. doesn't need to be charged. no roaming charges. great."

The activity stream should show everything that is going on on Migipedia. That's why, in the past, I've posted the king cake traditions, smoothie ideas or, like now, the reviews of the Best of Migipedia products. Yes, when there's a lot going on in the community, your scrolling fingers can get a bit sore. I feel the same way. We have technically checked to exclude the Best of Migipedia product reviews or smoothie ideas from the stream. The exclusion alone cannot be realized by Migipedia itself. We also need to get our product catalog team on board for this. The effort for both teams would be immense to keep the activity stream "clean". That is why we are not implementing this. I'm probably disappointing some people with this statement. And there's more to come: in around 2 weeks, we'll be launching another search for ideas for a new product. Again in the forum. In addition to the Best of Migipedia ratings, there will probably also be many responses to a forum post and everything will be streamed. A few words about the ratings of the 12 nominated Best of Migipedia products: Yes, the Kult Ice Tea Lemon, the Risoletto Classic, the oat flakes and the other products are currently being rated very diligently. But not just those. Many other Migros products, some of which are new to the community, are being diligently rated by the community members. And that's what it's all about. We need your ratings. I'm not enthusiastic at all. Unfortunately, suggestions for improvement don't reach Migros at all. They don't like criticism. For years we've wanted certain products to be available all year round (and not just seasonally). With Léger products in particular, this makes absolutely no sense. Léger is not seasonal, we want to eat light all year round. Migros blocks us and simply takes many products away from us, even though the staff often can't understand it because the product is always out of stock...... And I could go on and on. Unfortunately, there have been no major improvements for a long time.........

Hi Philipp I am not an "activity stream user". I enter the forum directly, which has the advantage that I can only go to the topics that interest me. It's different with the ratings, even if you enter directly. They have improved the overview there by allowing you to select the category and you no longer have to scroll through pages until you find a review for a food product, for example, because everything is full of posts from the specialist stores and Migusto. Now this advantage has been nullified by thousands of meaningless reviews for the same items. Pointless... and has absolutely nothing to do with the Activty stream. Evil tongues claim that this is intended to drown out the critical contributions or to discourage the really interested users from writing meaningful, critical reviews.

However, the "meaningless" reviews, as you say, will not be removed. I understand that the current campaign is flooding the stream. But I can't change that. The campaign will pass - I promise it won't last forever. As for the nasty tongues, I can only say that at least there is no intention on our part to hide negative reviews. I mean, 12 products are currently collecting reviews on Best of Migipedia. However, our catalog contains around 17,000 supermarket products (approx. 70,000 including specialist stores) and believe me, our product managers look very closely at one and two star ratings. I stick to my guns: meaningless "reviews", because reading "Mmmhhh", "Mega!", "Super", "I don't like" etc. hundreds of times for bananas, for example, is pretty much the most superfluous thing you can waste your time on. The question remains: What use do you want to make of it? I like to browse through the reviews because I always come across products that I don't know yet. Some reviews make me curious to try something out, and I've discovered many a hidden treasure. But certainly not with products that I have known for decades.
