I experienced an inconvenience today in the Migros Fällanden branch.
I shop at Migros every day with amounts of up to 5000.- per month.
I also regularly use the customer card with my details for larger amounts.
When I went to the self-service checkout with my purchase today, I couldn't scan the flowers, so I asked the checkout employee for help. After several attempts, Ms. xxx was able to scan the flowers.
I then wanted to scan my customer card and asked Ms. xxx for help again. Again she typed several times on the monitor. After several minutes it finally worked.
Then Mrs. xxx said I had deleted the flowers, stood in front of me and shouted at me. As I was nowhere near the till, I was surprised by her statement. Besides, I called her to scan the flowers. Why would I want to delete them afterwards?
The store manager Mr.xxx defended his employee and claimed that his employees were allowed to shout at customers and accuse them of theft because, as he said, I had come to them.
I spoke to security. The video recordings are being reviewed.
Migros has lost a customer as a result. I've never experienced anything like this at the Coop.
