Hello Lieferenedlaver, thank you for your inquiry! According to our specialist department, we are currently looking into switching to 100% free-range eggs. We cannot say at the moment when a changeover will take place, but JOWA only processes free-range eggs or KAT-certified barn eggs. KAT is an association and stands for "Kontrollierte alternative Tierhaltungsformen e.V." This certification ensures, among other things, that no battery eggs are used in Migros products, even in the case of foreign eggs. For this reason, Migros drew up the first criteria for sustainable palm oil production back in 1999 together with the WWF.
