Here's some feedback on the lighting in various Migros stores.
Today I was once again in MM Pfäffikon ZH.
I noticed the poor lighting again, especially in the meat display case. Although I actually wanted to buy a nice piece of meat, it made me leave without having achieved anything. It also helped that the display case was relatively high and there were other customers there who obviously couldn't make up their minds either. Perhaps they also had problems with the light. The whole area from the fruit and vegetable section to the bread and dairy products is relatively poorly lit. The lighting only gets (much) better after the wall that separates the dairy products from the long-life foods.
My main shopping destination is the Züri-Oberland-Märt in Wetzikon. The MMM is much better lit there and the meat display cases are only just up to eye level, so it's much more pleasant to look at the goods and I'm more likely to find what I'm looking for.
I know that they try to make the products more attractive with appropriate lighting, but at MM Pfäffikon ZH this is rather counterproductive.
However, if it is an energy-saving measure, I think you could switch to modern LEDs. LED has made enormous progress and now provides very good light with very low energy consumption.
