The sole of a 3-year-old top hiking boot comes loose - no refund :-(
Bei 3-jährigem Top-Wanderschuh löst sich die Sohle - Keine Rückerstattung :-(
Hello dear Migipedia team and dear Migros fans
Three years ago I bought a top hiking boot for CHF 280 (Meindl, Air Revolution Lite Women), with which I was very satisfied until recently.
It is incomprehensible to me that after such a short time, with constant careful care and optimal storage in my apartment, the front part of the sole has suddenly come loose on normal terrain - I still find it hard to believe that this has actually happened. After a few days and normal hiking routes, the detachment process even started on the second shoe - in my opinion, this must clearly be a fault with the product!
I then sent in my beloved hiking boots, but received a sobering reply: "Unfortunately, nothing can be done because the warranty has expired.
I was and still am very disappointed with the Migros service - I would definitely have expected a different response, especially for such an expensive product. I also didn't feel taken seriously at all...
Have you ever had a case like this or experienced it yourself? Were you able to defend yourself successfully? What else can I do to get at least a little compensation?
I simply don't want to accept this decision, I really want to keep this shoe because I am very fond of hiking boots, apart from the sole...
I look forward to your answers
