When I was a child (unfortunately without Migros for the most part), I always had a chocolate and pear ice cream in the shape and appearance of a tree trunk at Christmas. With sugar mushrooms. I miss that thing.
I don't really care about the shape. But a cup or block of creamy chocolate ice cream with a core or half of pear sorbet would be great.

Were those things from Lagnese? I don't remember. We bought them at the local cheese dairy back then and unfortunately it's been closed for years.

This Baumstammglacé still has a few fans after all this time. That's why - and because I recently spoke to the person responsible for the ice cream - I know off the top of my head that there are no plans to reintroduce it at the moment.
During the festive season, we have the following products in our range as an alternative:
160621200000GLACETTA BUCHE NOEL NOISETTE 700ML
160621500000GLACETTA BEECH NOEL BLANC 700ML
Maybe you like these? It's not the same, I know. But hopefully a fine alternative for you.

What a shame, is there no enthusiasm for pear ice cream?
Christmas is just around the corner again and I'm missing a combination of pear and chocolate glacé. I've always found that it goes very well with Christmas.
