Thanks for the clarification. Basil has been missing from Migros Brugg for at least 4 weeks. The shelf is empty - or simply non-existent (i.e. another spice is there and the price tag for basil is also missing.) We have searched all the spices and there is no basil.

They stock herbs in pots in the fruit and vegetable section between February/March and October. During the winter months, the demand for these herbs is too low, which means that spoilage is too high - we want to avoid this. Thank you for your understanding and all the best for the New Year! But we don't just miss the pot, we miss basil in all its forms. In the meantime, I read somewhere that there was a poor harvest in Israel. Did you only get your basil from there?

Hello Anor, the Brugg store confirms that it has fresh basil in the chiller cabinet every day. You are welcome to approach the sales staff on site if the shelf is empty. If you are referring to a different branch, for example Bruggen, please let us know so that we can also ask there. Best regards, Sina
