I love avocados. But I'm not exaggerating when I say that about every 10th one I buy is edible. Most of them are ok to touch on the outside, but then they are as hard as cardboard and completely tasteless. They also don't ripen at night. I now buy avocados in the Coop, as there is a better chance of buying an edible fruit.
