Rising chocolate prices

Augmentation des prix du chocolat

Guest

Hello!

While the current headlines revolve around price cuts for various brands, I'd like to express my disappointment at the mini-articles announcing price increases for Migros' own brand.
Indeed, some time ago, Migros was already bragging that the price of its chocolate had fallen (because it had risen, prompting strong reactions from consumers), and this week, the price barometer discreetly slips in that the price has risen AGAIN. Personally, I feel cheated...
As usual, it's "the very high price of cocoa" that's to blame. But then why is it only passed on to 2 types of chocolate (Giandor and Chocolait au lait extra) which are among the basics for consumers? I really wonder whether it's worth continuing to claim price cuts if it's only to discreetly rectify the situation a few months later. More than these few cents' worth of price increases, it's the way a store I really like is acting that's weighing on my conscience more than on my wallet!

To add to my disappointment, I found in a January 2011 magazine the ad with the elf: "The elf decides: sustainable price reduction on 2247 products" including Giandor Noir, Cholat au lait extrafin, ETC .... How disappointing! If Migros' SUSTAINABLE efforts don't survive more than 8 months, how can we still believe in all their promises... All talk and no action! :-(

Hello!

Have you had any information? Especially since, as a customer recently wrote, many price increases follow one another and always discreetly in parallel with advertising campaigns for price cuts!

It's all a blur, isn't it?

Dear Marilyne,
I'm really sorry, your question was unfortunately forgotten. I asked the question directly to Chocolat Frey and hope to be able to give you an answer soon. Thank you for your patience!

Best regards

Hello,

I wanted to comment again on the price increase for chocolate announced in the magazine this week.
I find it regrettable that barely 2 years after a SUSTAINABLE PRICE LOWERING, the products in question are experiencing 2 INCREASES!!!!!!!!!

it makes you wonder about the credibility of your "promises for the future", the future of the next few months? It's mediocre to try to confuse us discreetly, it's really taking customers for incapable of reasoning!
