Rising chocolate prices

Augmentation des prix du chocolat

Guest

Hello!

While the current headlines revolve around price cuts for various brands, I'd like to express my disappointment at the mini-articles announcing price increases for Migros' own brand.
Indeed, some time ago, Migros was already bragging that the price of its chocolate had fallen (because it had risen, prompting strong reactions from consumers), and this week, the price barometer discreetly slips in that the price has risen AGAIN. Personally, I feel cheated...
As usual, it's "the very high price of cocoa" that's to blame. But then why is it only passed on to 2 types of chocolate (Giandor and Chocolait au lait extra) which are among the basics for consumers? I really wonder whether it's worth continuing to claim price cuts if it's only to discreetly rectify the situation a few months later. More than these few cents' worth of price increases, it's the way a store I really like is acting that's weighing on my conscience more than on my wallet!
