Very disappointed because kale is too chopped up and then there is a lot of stalk on it. This might work for a green smoothie or juice, but for a salad I was cutting away minutes at the stem (I would probably have been quicker to prepare a kale (which wasn't available in the vegetable section) and it didn't look nice on the plate because the kale was so chopped up.

The stalk is deliberately left on the cabbage because it contains a lot of nutritional value. This can also be eaten in salads. Anna's Best spring cabbage is also ideal for hot dishes. Perhaps the cabbage will taste better if you prepare it according to the recipe on the packaging? The stems are not as hard when steamed.
