Alternative flours

Alternative Mehle

If this topic already exists, then "excüse".

I often avoid normal wheat flour (I don't have an allergy, but it just doesn't do me any good) and therefore cook or bake with alternative flours.

I really like almond and soy flour. But coconut, chestnut and chickpea flour are also wonderful for various dishes.

Of course, you can only buy these in organic food stores or drugstores, but wouldn't they perhaps also have potential in Migros?

HelloSchpudelchen,

Thank you for your idea. Every flour has its own properties and its own taste. This certainly opens up many possibilities :-)

I will be happy to pass on your request to the product managers.

Best regards,

Hello Antonia

Thank you for forwarding this. Is there any news about this yet?

Unfortunately, nobody else seems to be interested in my request, so I don't think there will be anything in this direction?

Greetings

Hello @Schpudelchen

As far as I can see, Antonia forwarded your request to the people responsible for the range, but there were obviously no concrete plans at the time. I will find out if there is anything new.

For people who cook and bake gluten-free, alternative flours are always exciting. Not so much for me, as I have my own grain mill at home and buy chickpeas whole, for example, but they are already available in Migros.

Hello @Schpudelchen

I have asked and received feedback that the suggestions have been taken on board, but that there are no concrete plans as yet. But that doesn't mean that the ideas are off the table - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and if I get any new information, I'll let you know.

Best regards

Karin

Hello Karin

Thank you for asking.

Maybe the time is just not ripe for it at the moment. :)

But who knows...maybe...
