I’ve noticed that there are a lot of posts on this site again, some of which are up to 10 years old. Doesn’t it make sense to delete posts that are 2–3 years old?

I’ve noticed that there are a lot of posts on this site again, some of which are up to 10 years old. Doesn’t it make sense to delete posts that are 2–3 years old?

Old posts resurface when other users respond to them. In fact, there are older posts that are still relevant. But of course, not all of them. The forum is part of Migipedia, but in terms of the number of interactions, it isn’t quite as much of a focus as the topic of product reviews. That’s why we can’t always devote all our resources to the forum.
Simply removing posts would be detrimental to Migipedia. The forum and its data are extremely important for the platform’s reach. Google and ChatGPT bots favor this kind of content and help us with visibility. That’s why we’ll likely have to take a different approach.
It appears that we will be making some changes to the forum in the coming weeks and months. I’ll also address the issue of “old posts.” One possibility would be to “lock” a large number of older posts. These could still be read but not commented on.
