And sometimes a layer of chocolate around it. But what you definitely don't expect to find in marzipan: Alcohol. Unless it's rum-flavored marzipan, for example, but when I buy Alnature marzipan coins, I don't really expect alcohol. Especially not if it's not clearly declared. And on the face of it, the marzipan thalers don't! It's only when I read the list of ingredients that I find the information that it contains 0.3% alcohol. Why isn't this already stated on the front? Yes, yes, I can already hear the answer: non-alcoholic beer also contains alcohol and if the alcohol content is less than 0.5%, then according to the Foodstuffs Act ... etc. Even if that is the case, you can still declare it!

That's what happened to me in Migros with black truffles. I also think that alcohol should be noted on the front. Because I don't want alcohol. It only becomes apparent when you take a closer look at the ingredients. It shouldn't be like this. The front should be labeled Truffles with alcohol.

It is clear from the list of ingredients that a small amount of alcohol is contained. An additional note ("contains alcohol") only has to be added if the alcohol content exceeds 0.5% by volume.
