...I actually think it's good, the only thing I find "not so good" is when you are forced to buy 2 or 3 items just to make it cheaper, I don't need 2 "frying" pans or 2 "Elan" detergents, no 3 bars of chocolate, etc., I only want 1 piece of it. It would be nice if Migros considered not only families but also singles, thank you

Well, there are both types of promotions - the classic ones where every product is cheaper on the one hand, and the 3-for-2, discount when buying 2 or more, etc. on the other.
I think that's actually ok (even as a single person), of course it's more attractive for Migros if several items are sold per customer. But the reduction is often greater than with individual promotions. However, I can't take advantage of some of the promotions, especially for perishable products. But when it comes to detergents, chocolate, drinks, frozen products, etc., if I'm in doubt I just buy the larger quantity and store it at home until I need it.
I don't really care about non-perishable items as long as I have enough space for them. At some point the limit is reached, I don't want to pay more rent for a bigger apartment just so I can hoard more promotions ;)
In my opinion, two heads of lettuce for the price of one is a pretty "stupid" promotion. Or seen last week: Spätzli with 20% more content for the same price. Different packaging has to be produced instead of offering customers the usual quantity 20% cheaper. Promotions like this encourage food waste, which is why I consistently boycott them. Because I don't suddenly eat more just because it's cheaper.
Even as a family woman, I don't always buy the special offer when there are multiple packs. Precisely because I don't want to throw food away. But there are also promotions where I don't buy them because it often involves a lot of packaging, something is not seasonal etc. and anyway. I think there is always someone who can benefit from all the promotions and there are hardly any promotions that are for everyone....

Hello
Especially after Easter, the discounted chocolate bunnies pile up in our house, because bunny chocolate simply tastes better. In addition, there is often something green printed on the packaging, so Easter chocolate is definitely healthier. They would keep forever in a cool cellar and the expiration date is a joke anyway, especially for dark chocolate. Well-stocked pantries are common for the majority of the Swiss population. Perhaps some people still remember the 1980s, when it was said that emergency sleeping places and supplies were absolutely essential in the air-raid shelter. :-) We never had the beds, but we had supplies of our own fruit, jam, dried fruit, wine, schnapps and promotions long before that.

Maybe you can do without the toilet, so you have about one square meter more space. Calculated on a normal room height, this results in approx. 2.3 cubic meters for a pantry. :-) Most pussycats do their business outside anyway, mainly in the neighbor's garden, often also in mine.
