Thank you for your comment. I can understand that you are annoyed that promotions are not offered for households of different sizes. And the fact that there were no biscuits to buy in smaller packs without a promotion is also stupid. I will be happy to pass this on to the people responsible and ask them to take this into account in future. Could you tell me the region or store where you shop?

This bad habit is apparently common at Migros Ostschweiz, regardless of whether it's bratwurst, white sausages or Plätzli.
On the one hand, I agree with you! Sometimes it's annoying for small households when only large packs are available?
But that's not a problem in this day and age.
As a single person, or since my mother has been living with me as a small household, I still buy large packs.
You can freeze portions of what you don't need.
If you don't overdo it, a small freezer compartment in the fridge is enough?
From that point of view, it's not a big stockpile but more of a bridge.
I've also noticed that you can use the freezer compartment for leftovers from large portions. But I'm a little skeptical about this method. Besides, you never know if the food has been frozen before. If so, it is not advisable to do it again. In addition, the quality suffers during freezing.
Perhaps Migros could at least add the words "suitable for freezing". There would certainly be room for this somewhere on the oversized packs.
Nevertheless, there is no justification whatsoever for removing the normal packs from sale at normal prices during such promotions.
